After more than 300 calls and emails from MERI members, both Congressman Langevin and Kennedy are standing strong behind their support for an inclusive version of the Employment NonDiscrimination Act (ENDA). Unfortunately the bill that they have been presented to vote on does not include gender identity protections; but both Congressman are supporting an amendment to the bill that would restore some of the protections of the original, inclusive act.

Please call your Congressperson and thank them for their support of equality. We'll keep you posted on the bill's progress through the US House of Representatives.
