On Wednesday, the State Senate passed the biennial state budget, which includes important domestic partnership protections for our state's same-sex couples.  The budget was passed in a 17-16 vote.

This is a great victory and an important step towards fairness in our state, and Fair Wisconsin could not have done this without your support and participation!  As a gesture of thanks to all the representatives and senators who stood up for the 15,000 same-sex couples in Wisconsin, please use our easy online tool to send an email expressing your appreciation to your legislator for supporting domestic partnership protections.

Your emails, letters and calls to your representatives' and senators' offices made these victories possible.  As we prepare for the final steps in the budget process, please take a moment to thank your legislators.
