Help us take our message of fairness to every corner of Wisconsin. On Saturday, May 20th, Fair Wisconsin will be holding door-to-door voter education efforts statewide.
To sign up for the statewide canvass, choose Yes! in the upper right corner of this page and click on the RSVP button. You will be prompted to enter your contact info and then asked to type in the name of the county where you'd like to participate.
Once you have registered, we will contact you with the location to gather in your area. Most sites will be meeting at 10am, although it will vary. If you have questions, feel free to email Justin or call him at 608-441-0143 x306.
In many areas, we will start at 10am with a detailed training that covers: how to talk with people at the doors, tips on what to do when canvassing, and background on the campaign. After the training, we will be at the doors from 11am to 2pm then debrief back at the training location.
Having personal conversations with people one-on-one is the best way to inform our communities about the ban on civil unions and marriage for gay and lesbian families. That is why it is so important for us to knock on the doors of our neighbors to let them know about the ban, why we oppose it, and invite them to do the same.
