  • Bill Dickey, Witham & Dickey
  • The Oregon Business Association
  • The Portland Business Alliance
  • The Governor's Task Force on Equality

On January 1, 2008, the Oregon Equality Act (Senate Bill 2) took effect. The Oregon Equality Act provides comprehensive protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Oregonians in housing, employment, and public accommodation.

The Oregon Family Fairness Act (House Bill 2007) took effect in early February. The Oregon Family Fairness Act provides legal recognition for same-sex couples and their families through Domestic Partnerships.

Learn what these new laws mean for you and your employees.
