Gay and lesbain families live without the legal protections enjoyed by other families.  The domestic partnership law provides the legal protections of marriage under state law to registered domestic partners. It's important that Governor Gregoire who signed the bill and the legislators who voted for the bill know you appreciate what they have done to protect washington families.
