The Governor has signed the 2009 Domestic Partnership Expansion Bill, completing Domestic Partnership system in Washington. Domestic Partnerships will now provide all the rights and benefits of marriage under Washington State Law.

We couldn't have done it without our supporters in the legislature and the Governor. Please take a moment to thank them for their votes and support of the 2009 Domestic Partnership Bill!

We won't stop until we achieve marriage equality, but this new law will create immediate protections for Washington families. These protections are even more important in times of economic crisis. Please thank your supportive legislators today!
