Everyday, someone in Missouri has to face this reality and learn that in this state it is indeed legal to discriminate based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

PROMO's priority proactive legislation, the Missouri Non-Discrimination Act, would change this reality. MONA would prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity/expression in housing, employment, and access to public accommodations.

PROMO has reintroduced MONA in both the Missouri Senate (SB 109) and House (HB 701), and a hearing has been held in the Senate. Take action and send a letter to your Senator urging them to support the Missouri Non-Discrimination Act (MONA), Senate Bill 109.
