Passage of this historic bill completes three years of work towards full domestic partnership - providing basic protections for same-sex couples and vulnerable senior couples - but we are not yet out of the woods. Our opponents are already talking about a referendum to repeal some, or all, of the rights associated with domestic partnerships. It is now important to thank our Representatives who voted for this bill.  And thank you to all the ERW advocates who generated e-mails, letters, and phone calls to legislators in support of the DP bill.  

Now it's time to say thank you. Please take the time to edit the subject line and tell your personal reasons for supporting the 2009 DP Expansion Bill.

Next step--the DP bill moves to the Governor's desk for signing!
