Over the last four years the Legislature and Governor Gregoire have worked together to enact into law many pieces of legislation seeking to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgeender Washingtonians enjoy equal protection under the law.  While public support for LGBT civil rights is rapidly growing, legislators and the governor still hear from opponents of LGBT equality.  Our supportive legislators and the Governor do not get thanked enough for their support of LGBT civil rights. So please take a momentand thank them.
