On Wednesday, March 4, a record-number of Pennsylvania House members introduced House Bill 300, legislation to amend the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act to prohibit discrimination on the bases of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression in employment, housing, and public accommodations. You can read more about the announcement here.  On Wednesday, March 11, the State Government Committee successfully voted this bill out of their committee, and sent it to be voted upon by the full House of Representatives.

This important bill has never gotten this far before, and we need to show our lawmakers across this state that thousands of people care about this legislation!

Please call and e-mail your State Representative and ask them to vote YES on House Bill 300!  Even if you think your lawmakers are already supportive, or would never support this bill-- every single member of the House NEEDS to hear from us!
