On May 6, the Pennsylvania Senate, by a voice vote, "Tabled" or stalled Senate Bill 1250. Senate Bill 1250, the "Marriage Protection Amendment," would amend the Pennsylvania Constitution to define marriage as solely between one man and one woman, as well as prohibit civil unions and potentially more. The legislation may become active again if the state House of Representatives wants to move the legislation forward.

We need you to e-mail your Representative and ask them to STOP this legislation! We need everyone to take a moment to contact and meet with your Represeantive and give a voice to the millions of Pennsylvanians who oppose writing discrimination into our State Constitution.
