DC to Host the 2010 IGBO Mid-Year Tournament
Washington, DC will host the International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO) 2010 Mid-Year Tournament. The official decision was made on November 14 at the IGBO 2008 Mid-Year Tournament in San Diego, CA, by a vote of IGBO representatives from around the country.

The IGBO Mid-Year Tournament annually attracts about 400 bowlers from across North America and several Pacific nations each Veterans Day weekend. It is one of two tournaments IGBO holds every year. Besides bowling, IGBO tournaments are a week full of events. IGBO Board and committee meetings, viewing of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, side tours, social events and many more activities are conducted throughout the tournament week. IGBO's 30th anniversary will be celebrated in 2010, which is sure to add to the excitement of hosting the tournament in the great capital city that we call home.
