Thank you for inquiring about the
Grounds Crew at Pride Texas 2008!

Grounds volunteers walk around the Festival helping us keep Auditorium Shores beautiful! All volunteers receive a Pride T-Shirt and free admission, along with access to the volunteer hospitality tent. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with periodic pick-up of trash and recycling
• Re-lining bins
• Deposit recycling and trash in designated containers
• Keep sanitizer and tissue stocked
• Helping keep Austin beautiful and environmentally friendly!

Choose from these shifts:

Shift 1 - 9:00 a.m. to noon **FULL** We will set up, put out, and line trash and recycling bins

Shift 2 - 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The gates open at noon, so for the first 30 minutes of this shift, we will assist with set up: putting up signs and ensuring that tables and chairs are arranged

Shift 3 - 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. We'll be keeping the grounds beautiful!

Shift 4 - 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. We'll make sure the place is clean so that we can leave quickly once the gates close. For the last 30 minutes of this shift, we'll help take down signs, fold tables and ensure we left Auditorium Shores better than we found it

Shift 5 - 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We'll do a final clean-up of the Shores and keep Austin beautiful! If we get done before 9, we'll leave before then.
