The 2007 Student Action Summit is Texas' 2nd statewide student organizing conference.
Sunday, March 25th is a day of lobby training and planning workshops at the University of Texas at Austin:

Check-in @ Mezes Hall. All Summit workshops will be in MEZ 1.306, 2.124, and 2.126.

Equality Texas will present a lobby training for students and allies! All are encouraged to attend.
2:30pm
Soulforce Media and Public Relations Director Paige Schilt with Karen Kalergis of Atticus Circle will present "MEDIA 101: How to Talk to the Press and Not Lose Your Cool or Your Point"
OutYouth's Lisa Rogers will present: "HEALING HOSTILE HALLS" on empowering youth to become agents of change in their schools.
3:35pm
COLAGE (Children of Lesbians & Gays Everywhere) will screen the youth produced, award winning film "In My Shoes: Stories of Youth with LGBT Parents".
Atticus Circle Executive Director Jodi Eldridge will present "Putting the 'Straight' in Gay-Straight Alliance"
4:30pm
GLAAD (The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) will present a training seminar on how to deal with the media to make sure your voice is heard.
ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) will present "Consensus & Facilitation 101: The Basics".
