Following the largest Lobby Day in Equality Texas history, I am asking you to help us take advantage of real opportunities to secure public hearings on pro-equality legislation AND have this legislation voted favorably out of committee to the floor of the Texas House.

The next two weeks are critical in our lobbying and advocacy efforts. 

You can make equality happen now. 

Donate $35, $50, or $100 toward our fundraising goal of $5,000 by April 15th.

These funds will help ensure:

• That we collect and deliver 2,000 petition signatures in support of "The Freedom from Workplace Discrimination Act" and secure a committee hearing and a vote!
• That we contact all Equality Texas supporters in the Coastal Bend (District 32) in our efforts to secure Rep. Todd Hunter (R-Corpus Christi) as a joint author of "The Competitive Insurance Benefits Bill".

I need your help to ensure that every Texan is valued in the workplace for their skills and contributions and not discriminated against because of their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.  I need your help to provide access to competitive health insurance benefits for employees and staff of the University of Texas and Texas A&M University systems.
