The Seventh Annual Day of Equality Awards Banquet is the only statewide event which brings gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and allied Alabamians together in one place to celebrate the recent progress we have made in our state, to honor those who have made significant contributions to the cause, and to organize for the next steps toward full social and legal equality.

The Seventh Annual Day of Equality Awards Banquet will feature master of ceremonies Tim Lennox of Alabama Public Television, performances by the Magic City Choral Society's Men's Chorus, and a keynote address by Richard Cohen, President and CEO of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
