THREE DAYS UNTIL
EQUALITY
WEEKEND
The countdown is underway. Equality weekend
kicks off Friday, September 18 with a Welcome Party and official
bar party at Our Place. Saturday will be a full day of
education and celebration beginning with
registration starting at 8:00 am and the opening general
session at 9:00 am. From 10:00 am until 4:00 pm seminar
and caucus sessions will provide updates on numerous
topics. At 5:00 pm the evening festivities kick off with a
reception and silent auction. The Gala dinner featuring
keynote speaker Congressman John Lewis and performances by the
Magic City Choral Society's men's and women's choirs begins at
7:00 pm. All of the Saturday events are at the Cahaba
Grand Conference Center on Grandview Drive off Highway
280. The weekend culminates with services at welcoming
churches and a brunch at the historic Redmont Hotel, beginning
at 12:00 noon, featuring a performance by the Politically
Incorrect Cabaret. Price details follow:

But here is a secret approach to getting a discount even
after the discount period ends. The price for a table of
ten, without any discount, is $700. So, get nine friends
to pay you for the tickets you secure on line with your
credit card and everyone receives a discount of five dollars
over the individual ticket price. .
