As 2009 comes to and end, and we
welcome in 2010,
there will be a few opportunities
to show your support by
Volunteering for
Equality!
Big Gay Cocktail Club
Thursday, November 12,
2009
5:15pm –
8:pm
Downtown
Chicago
(Location will be revealed to
those volunteering)
Equality Illinois is happy to
announce that we will be the beneficiary organization
at this month’s Big Gay
Cocktail Club (BGCC).
The BGCC is a monthly
social/networking event that takes place at various bars
and clubs across
Chicago.
Equality Illinois needs the help
of two dedicated volunteers to help collect money
at the door and greet people at
this event.

The Ultimate New Year’s Eve Party
Thursday, December 31,
2009
7:00pm-11:30pm
Sidetrack
3349 N. Halsted
Street
Chicago
If you don’t already have
plans for the celebration, consider spending the evening
with Equality Illinois and
supporters at the annual New Year’s Eve party at
Sidetrack. Known as one of the
most fun events on the Halsted Strip, we are
looking for a few volunteers that
will help work the door. It won’t be all work –
everyone is guaranteed to have a
fantastic time!

Equality
Illinois’ 2010 Justice for All
Gala
As you know, Equality
Illinois’ Justice for All Gala (and Premier Reception) is
the
largest and the most fun LGBT
black-tie event in the Midwest, with over
1,000 people attending
annually.
It’s not all work for the
volunteers: we will ensure that you are fed and that
you
have a chance to enjoy yourself
throughout the night.
There are many volunteer
positions, and they will be filled on a first come,
first
served basis, so if you have a
time or position that you would like to work,
please
don’t delay in letting us
know. And tell your friends –
we can always use another helping
hand!
