Join Us in Charlotte!
Q-Notes says that "Equality NC is becoming a political powerhouse with their smart strategies and ability to forge alliances with legislative leaders in Raleigh." We're inspired to be the change every day so North Carolina's LGBT community can be too!
Please join us for a special champagne brunch to be held at the home of Ken Wittenauer and Russ Leciejewski on Sunday, June 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM. Our hosts are Ken and Russ, Phil Wells, and Robert Dogens. Please RSVP by clicking yes in the RSVP box to your right and making a generous donation in support of Equality North Carolina. If you make a gift of $150 or more, we'll acknowledge you as a sponsor on our website as well as at the event. Sponsorship is a great way to show your support for LGBT equality! Our initial sponsors are listed below.
This year's legislative session is critical for our state's LGBT community and we'll have the latest from executive director Ian Palmquist on what we're up against. We'll be able to tell you what right-wing groups are up to with their anti-LGBT, anti-marriage, anti-family constitutional amendment--they'll be trying to sneak it through for the fifth year in a row and we'll be working to hold them back for the fifth year in a row--and we'll be able to tell you exactly where we are with our historic anti-bullying bill, a bill that will protect our young people in schools across the state.
Questions? Please contact Kay at kay@equalitync.org or (919) 699-3501. We look forward to seeing you in Charlotte!
