Join us for the 2009 Equality Conference & Gala!

Information about becoming a table captain at the 2009 Equality Gala is below, followed by registration rates for both the conference and gala for individuals, students, and people with income challenges. Please note that early-bird registration rates will end after October 30!

Oh Captain! My Captain!

This year at the Equality Gala to be held at the beautiful Empire Room in downtown Greensboro, we'll be celebrating passage of the School Violence Prevention Act--our collective landmark achievement--and we want you to help steer the ship! If we can fill at least 35 tables for eight, we'll raise at least $30,000 to help Equality NC Foundation educate LGBT North Carolinians and allies about LGBT employment discrimination (our next landmark). Won't you please help us reach this goal by becoming a table captain?

It's easy to sign up. Simply contact Shawn at shawn@equalitync.org or 919.829.0343 x 114 to let him know you'd like to be a table captain for the 2009 Equality Gala. He will add your name (or the name of your organization) to the pull-down list of table captains at our online registration site, then all you'll have to do is recruit seven friends to join you at your table by registering under your name.

You also have the option of paying $1,000 up front for your table and inviting seven friends to join you as your guests. (This option is better because you'll get a tax break times eight!)

Either way, whether you recruit seven friends or pay for seven friends, Equality NC Foundation will benefit!

Individual Admission

• Complimentary admission if you have donated $1,200 or more to Equality NC and Equality NC Foundation during calendar year 2009 (please contact Kay with any questions at kay@equalitync.org)
• $170 for both Conference & Gala ($215 after October 30)
• $125 for Gala only ($155 after October 30)
• $45 for Conference only ($60 after October 30)

Student Admission

• $85 for both Conference & Gala ($115 after October 30)
• $65 for Gala only ($85 after October 30)
• $20 for Conference only ($30 after October 30)

Special Rates for People With Limited Income

• $105 for both Conference & Gala (reduced rate no longer available after October 30)
• $75 for Gala only (reduced rate no longer available after October 30)
• $30 for Conference only (reduced rate no longer available after October 30)
