Join us for a day which gives every North Carolinian infected and affected by HIV/ AIDS an opportunity to discuss their most pressing issues with the people that represent our interests in state government!
We'll be advocating for policies that:
- Require schools to offer comprehensive sexuality education as an option for parents.
- Protect critical funding for HIV prevention programs from threatened cuts.
- Protecting access to life-saving medications by maintaining funding for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).
It's a lot of fun. We'll give you a short orientation to the issues and what to expect when you meet with legislators, then give you time to talk with them. We'll provide lunch for those who pre-register.
NOTE: Please register with a unique email address for each participant. If you need to register multiple people and do not have individual email addresses, please email their names and addresses to ian@equalitync.org
Limited reimbursements for transportation to the event are available: contact Jacquelyn Clymore in advance to request assistance (jacquelyn.clymore@aas-c.org).
Note: Your registration will be processed by Equality NC, a member of our coalition that is managing online registrations. However, your personal data will not be kept by Equality NC (unless you already belong to ENC) and will only be used by NCAAN.
