This holiday season, we’re closer than ever to winning vital rights and protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) New Yorkers, and support from our community has never been so important!

We’ve come a long way over the past few years on all of our issues, but there is still much to be done to make marriage equality and other priority legislation the law in New York State.

As renewed calls for LGBT civil rights can be heard across the county, New York’s place as a leader in the fight for equality and justice has never been more in demand. Together we can send a resounding message to the rest of the nation by doing the hard, smart work it will take to become the first state to win marriage equality by passing a bill through the state legislature.

Please make a generous donation today to the Empire State Pride Agenda.  Your gift will help us ensure that we have the resources we need to get to work when the new legislative session begins in January.

As we look towards 2009, one thing is certain: we need your help to make sure that we have the necessary votes in the State Senate to pass important bills—not only marriage equality, but also other crucial pieces of legislation that ban discrimination against transgender New Yorkers and make schools safe for LGBT youth.  I am asking you to be a part of this effort by standing with us with your continued support.

Please take a moment to make your own special year-end contribution to our community’s historic battle for equality. Your gift of support—no matter what the amount—will move us closer to victory.

We wish you and yours peace and happiness this holiday season.
