Start the New Year Off Right!

This year is shaping up to be exciting—perhaps even historic—for LGBT New Yorkers, and we invite you to be part of the action at the Empire State Pride Agenda’s annual women’s event, Winter Heat, on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 7:30–10:30 pm.

In just 5 years, Winter Heat has become the fundraising party of the season for women and allies who support LGBT rights—and who want to have a great time while doing it!  Join us now as a sponsor of this fabulous event.

We are excited about moving to a new venue, BLVD Nightclub in Manhattan, and to welcome the legendary DJ Missy B and DJ Trini to get us moving on the dance floor.  Mingle with a fabulous crowd in a hot new venue while enjoying cocktails powered by V2 Vodka – all while making an important contribution to our efforts to fight for LGBT equality here in New York.  

Proceeds from the event support the Pride Agenda’s advocacy work on our priority issues: marriage equality for same-sex couples, banning discrimination against transgender New Yorkers, and making schools safer for LGBT youth.  Your sponsorship provides us with the funds necessary to do the work to make New York the next state that allows same-sex couples to legally marry.  We know we have to work harder than ever in 2009, but we can do it with your support.
