New TV ad! Help us stay on
air!
Today we are
releasing our second ad featuring another real New York
family talking about the need to pass a marriage equality bill.
But in order to get this ad on air across the state, we
need your help today!

Our new
ad features Karen Schuster from Rochester, NY and two of her children.
Karen wants all of her kids to be treated equally by New York
State. Her
23-year old daughter Jessica looks forward to the day when she
can marry the person she loves. Her 19-year old gay son Luke,
however, feels like he is less of a citizen because he will not
be allowed to one day marry the person he
loves.
Like Barb and Don
Crawford in our first ad that has been running on television for
the past two weeks, Karen, Luke and Jessica demonstrate how the
denial of civil marriage rights for same-sex couples affects
entire families—parents who want their children to have
all of the same opportunities that they have and siblings who
can’t understand why their brothers and sisters are not
treated equally under the law.
We need your help to continue our ad campaign so New
Yorkers can hear these stories of real New York
families. Donate today to help us get this ad on the
air.
Already thousands
of New Yorkers across the state have seen our ad campaign and
have let their State Senators know that they expect action to
end this inequality. Let’s keep the pressure up! Help us stay on air until we get the marriage
equality bill on the Senate floor for a
vote.
Make a donation here to keep our ads running on TVs across
New
York State!
