Help us fight NOM’s misinformation campaign!

Last week, we told you about our new marriage equality ad and asked you to help us get it on air throughout New York State. Since then, we’ve received an outpouring of support—but we’ve also found out that the anti-marriage forces are targeting New York with an ad campaign of their own. The National Organization for Marriage—the New Jersey-based group responsible for the “Gathering Storm” ads—has released an ad in New York containing many of the same false messages that we’ve seen in other parts of the country. That’s why we need your support now more than ever—we simply cannot allow NOM’s deceptive ads to reach New Yorkers’ homes without them seeing the truth as well.

Our second ad, featuring a Rochester mother who wants her gay son to have the same right to marry the person he loves as the rest of her children, began airing on Friday. But we need your help to keep this ad on air. Not only does every dollar you give help combat NOM’s misinformation campaign, but also—thanks to the generosity of several donors—every dollar given up to $30,000 will be matched with an equal contribution.
