LGBT Community Meeting Tuesday 11/3/09 6pm Acadiana Open Channel Community Room 124 E Main St, Lafayette, LA 70501 Important LGBT Community MeetingJoin us for an important meeting about issues affecting the LGBT community in the Lafayette area. The Forum for Equality is working to educate, protect and enhance the rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people in Acadiana and throughout the State of Louisiana. With your help we have defeated anti-gay measures in the state legislature, worked to create expanded protections for LGBT citizens, partnered with community organizations to enhance the health and quality of LGBT life in Louisiana. In this meeting we will assess needs and come up with action plans that will improve the quality of life in our community.
