I want to let you know about an amazing event on Saturday night, July 12, 2008. It's Garden State Equality's 1960s SHORE SENSATION, an indoor-outdoor celebration featuring a luxurious clambake with whole lobsters, an open martini bar, and Beatlegacy - the multidimensional Beatles tribute band that plays annually in Liverpool, England! With a beach bonfire so grand, we got special permission from the City of Asbury Park. Rain or shine. The evening is to benefit Garden State Equality, New Jersey's incredible statewide organization fighting for LGBT civil rights. Since Garden State Equality's founding in 2004, New Jersey has enacted 200 LGBT civil rights laws at the state, county and local levels. That's more LGBT civil rights laws enacted in less time than in any other state, ever in American history. Because proceeds of the dinner are going to the 501c3 Garden State Equality Educational Fund, your ticket purchase will be tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
