The new report of the New Jersey Civil Union Review Commission details how New Jersey's civil union law has denied equality to same-sex couples - and instead has brought legal, financial and emotional suffering to them and their children. The civil union law segregates, discriminates and humiliates same-sex couples and their children all across our state. Every day that the Governor and the legislature delay changing the civil union law to a real marriage equality statue is another day of suffering for our brothers and sisters in the LGBT community.
