Greetings,
Starting this Friday you can check out two more
installments in the Louisville Gay & Lesbian Film Series at
Village 8 Theaters: "The Houseboy"
and "Finn's Girl."
Ricky is a lost boy looking for love in all the wrong places
in Spencer Schilly's "The Houseboy." Faced with the impending
end of his relationship, he turns to internet hookups as a
source of human connection. As his transitory romps fail to ease
his loneliness, he begins to consider more drastic measures.
"Finn's Girl" is a brave examination of
contemporary family values from co-directors Laurie Colbert and
Dominique Cardona. Dr. Finn Jefferies has lost her partner and
lost touch with her rebellious daughter. Their grief sends them
on parallel paths of destruction, while their suffering
challenges their concepts of who they really are.
Check out all the films scheduled for this month's film
series on the Village 8 website.
KFA is proud to partner with Village 8 and the Letter
newspaper to bring these films to Louisville. Get your tickets
online and join us for this new Louisville tradition!
See you at the movies,

P.S. Read up on all the films and watch their trailers on KFA's Gay & Lesbian Film Series website.
The Ampersand symbolizes the solidarity we are
building through Friends & Family, and suggests the
inclusiveness we are working toward. It reflects the idea that
no one individual, legislator, organization, or city can carry
all the water for equality. Our success lies in our
solidarity.
