Greetings,

Join the Kentucky Fairness Alliance and the University of Louisville, Office for GLBT Services as we present the moving adoption documentary "We Are Dad" on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Chao Auditorium.

With the recent push aimed at denying Kentucky's children a loving home simply based upon the marital status, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity of the parents, "We Are Dad" provides a refreshing model for how these families can succeed and live just like any other family.

"We Are Dad" is a must-see film that, according to Out.com, will take you "into the daily lives of this very remarkable family.  The result is a powerful bit of activist filmmaking."

Watch "We Are Dad" at 7:00 PM in the Chao Auditorium of Ekstrom Library at the University of Louisville.  A panel discussion will follow with Chris Hartman, Director of the Fairness Campaign, Michael Aldridge, Executive Director of the ACLU of Kentucky, and Travis Myles, Board Chairperson of the Kentucky Fairness Alliance.

Admission is free.

“...at this white-hot moment in the U.S. culture wars,
We Are Dad packs a fresh punch.”
