A Legal Protections Workshop

For the LGBT Community!

Join the MEGA Family Project for an evening of interesting conversation about how LGBT couples can best legally protect their relationships in the absence of marriage. Attorney Barbara Katz will share with you information about the legal documents you can put into place to make sure you can visit your partner in the hospital, make medical decisions for each other, protect your estate, and make sure you have the appropriate legal documents in place to protect your children. She will also answer questions about adoption legal issues, name changes, and other legal issues specific to LGBT people in Georgia.

This seminar is for all people interested in learning more about legal protections for LGBT people and marriage equality. This seminar is free for our MEGA Family Champion supporters, $5 per adult for our current dues-paying members, and $15 for non-members. Childcare will be very limited and available for $10 per child. If you would like childcare, you must register early and please know that we have limited space so it will close when we reach capacity.
