Tell Rep. Dennigan to Take Action!
With only a month left in the legislative session, we still have 3 bills that have not had hearings. Two of these were sponsored by Representative Dennigan, and would allow domestic partners to sue in cases of wrongful death, and to visit privately and share rooms in nursing homes. We need you to contact Rep. Dennigan today and urge her to secure a hearing and a vote on H 5855 (nursing homes) and H 5868 (wrongful death). It's just simple fairness.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of equality, and for sponsoring equal marriage legislation again this year. As you know, there is a platform of domestic partner protections that has been introduced this year; we need your help to ensure that H 5855 (which would provide visitation and room sharing rights) and H 5868 (which would give partners standing to sue for loss of consortium in wrongful death) recieve hearings and votes before the end of the session. As your constituent, I know you support equality for same-sex couples; I need to know that you will advocate for these critical protections.
