Greetings,
at
Wednesday, October 7, 2009 This event is sponsored by
Michigan Equality is a statewide organization dedicated to the use of education, advocacy and political power to promote equality and eliminate discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Michigan Equality is the only Lansing-based political organization fighting for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender families and individuals. Michigan Equality is on the forefront, changing the face of politics in Michigan. Only Michigan Equality has the single attention to serve the LGBT community in such a significant way. Meet area candidates and representatives for the Lansing
Area. We encourage everyone to take time to discuss their issues
and concerns. Suits and the City Members Make A
Difference in the Community! We continue in that same spirit again this month. This month, Suits and the City will be collecting winter clothing for local shelters. Please bring new or gently used coats, scarves, gloves, and hats. Maurer's Cleaners will be cleaning the coats, and we will be donating the warm clothing to local shelters. As the weather starts to turn colder, there are many people in Lansing that will need warm clothes. Please help by bringing this clothes to our event.
As always, we will have lots of great door prizes. This month, the Wharton Center is giving away another set of tickets to Michael Feinstein: The Sinatra Project, October 10, 2009, Cobb Great Hall. We hope to see you Wednesday at Beggar's Banquet. Suits and the City continues to grow because of your support. Don't just show up but show up and make a difference. Bring some winter clothing to donate, bring your questions for the candidates, bring your business cards to network, and bring a friend! Sincerely,
