Take Action: Thank Your Legislator

Greetings,

The New Hampshire Freedom to Marry Coalition celebrates the passage of marriage equality in New Hampshire and recognizes Governor John Lynch for allowing New Hampshire’s live free or die tradition of individual liberties and religious freedom to prevail. New Hampshire has always stood on the right side of history and today that tradition continues. We applaud The Senate President and the Speaker of the House along with their majority teams for their outstanding leadership on this issue.

We also congratulate the many members of the New Hampshire Freedom to Marry Coalition,

and we want to thank the many organizations that helped pass this legislation including but not limited to The America Votes Coalition, Granite State Progress, American Friends Service Committee, Planned Parenthood of New England, NHCLU, SEA.

While NHFTMC remains a non-partisan organization, we thought you would like to know that the vast majority of elected officials that supported marriage equality including our Governor we be in Manchester tomorrow. Please join me in thanking our elected officials and joining in their celebration in person tomorrow in Manchester.

Subject: Thank you

Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here],

As a constituent I would like to to personally thank you for your vote in support of the marriage equality bill and your support of HB 73. This legislation is very important to me and my family. I am so happy that you can see that marriage equality, individual liberties, and religious freedoms are all New Hampshire values.
Your vote for equality is significant and I hope that you continue to show your support on this issue. I know that I can count on you to represent New Hampshire families on June 3rd with your vote to support the Committee of Conference report on HB 73.

Thank you for your continued support and for taking a stand on marriage equality, individual liberty, and religious freedom.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
