Iowans Stand Against H8!
On May 26, 2009, the California Supreme Court upheld Proposition 8, which denies gay and lesbian couples access to marriage in California. Iowans stand with our friends in California and across the country and oppose writing discrimination into the Constitution of ANY state. Together we stand against hate and support efforts to reverse California's Proposition 8!

We join with our friends in California to support the repeal of Proposition 8 and oppose writing discrimination into the Constitution of ANY state. Committed gay and lesbian couples should be allowed the dignity, recognition, and responsibility that come with marriage, just like everyone else.
