One Iowa is conducting a series of Regional Summits across Iowa that we are calling the 3E (Expand, Engage, Empower) series.
At the summit we will provide training in three main methods of organizing:
- Driving an effective message
- Planning successful events (education and fundraising)
- Organizing your community to take action
We will also be presenting a campaign update keynote titled "Will Marriage Equality Survive in Iowa? Six months later."
This presentation will include recent polling information and will highlight grassroots victories on both sides of the issue in the wake of the historic April 3rd Decision. With only a few months remaining until supporters and opponents of equality will again face each other during the 2010 Iowa Legislative session, we want to ensure that our supporters are provided with the information necessary to succeed in protecting Civil Marriage Equality in Iowa!
