One Iowa, Capital City Pride, and the LGBT Community Center have partnered to present a series of speakers in recognition of Pride during the month of June. Every Saturday during June a free lecture will be presented on topics related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues. The Marriage Equality Lecture will feature Andrea Fehring, Marriage Equality Educator, Lambda Legal.
The presentations will be offered at the Central Library in downtown Des Moines from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Each event is open to the public. Free underground parking is available. Also, during the weekend, parking on the street is free.
